The LocalLinks AI project, supported through the PoliRural Plus Develop Open Call, is entering its final phase, with the public release of the application expected in the near future.

According to a recent update shared by Úhlava, o.p.s., the project team is currently finalising the application in collaboration with project partners and regional stakeholders. While the technical development of the platform has been a major component of the project, equal emphasis has been placed on testing and validation in real-world conditions.

Throughout the implementation period, LocalLinks AI engaged stakeholders from agriculture, food processing, tourism, public administration, and the non-profit sector. Their involvement has helped ensure that the solution reflects the needs of local communities and businesses while supporting practical use cases across multiple sectors.

A series of workshops and working meetings were organised during the project. These included a stakeholder workshop held in Klatovy at the end of April and a follow-up event at Dvůr Krutěnice in early June. In addition, regular working sessions brought together the project team and key partners, particularly ŠumavaProdukt and WirelessInfo, to review progress and test individual components of the platform.

The collaborative testing process focused on data quality, visualisation of links between producers and buyers, user interface design, chatbot functionality, and mapping tools. Several online meetings also supported development coordination, prototype review, and preparation of the project's final outputs.
