The PoliRuralPlus consortium invites developers, geospatial engineers, and applied AI practitioners to the JackDaw Code Camp, taking place 13–15 January 2026 in Prague. Hosted by the Faculty of Informatics at the Czech Technical University (ČVUT), this three-day in-person event focuses on accelerating development for the JackDaw platform and expanding the GeoLLM concept to new regions and domains.
What Is the Purpose of the Code Camp?
The event is designed as an intensive, hands-on development sprint aimed at:
- Creating new data assets, connectors, and callable functions ("tools") for JackDaw.
- Supporting the extension of GeoLLM technologies into additional application areas.
- Bringing together experts to co-develop deployable, market-relevant solutions.
Whether you are a GIS developer, data engineer, full-stack developer, or domain specialist, this event provides the environment to collaborate directly with the JackDaw core team.
Who Should Attend?
The Code Camp welcomes:
- Geospatial software engineers (GIS, OGC services, APIs)
- Data/ML engineers working with RAG pipelines or evaluation workflows
- Full-stack developers integrating tools into user workflows
- Domain experts proposing regional datasets or new GeoLLM use cases
If you are passionate about geospatial AI and practical innovation, this event is for you.
