At the 6th Bayerisch-Tschechischer Unternehmertag, the Deggendorf Institute of Technology (DIT) proudly participated to introduce the Czech-Bavaria pilot as part of the PoliRuralPlus project. The event, which took place on 15 October 24 in the town hall of Deggendorf, attracted more than 750 guests and exhibitors from the border region and beyond. The fair offered an attractive opportunity to display how PoliRuralPlus can contribute to inclusive regional growth, particularly in cross-border areas like Bavaria and the Czech Republic.
The pilot addresses key regional challenges, aiming to enhance cooperation and sustainable growth in this area. DIT's involvement highlights the critical role of academia in driving forward regional policy. Attendees were able to gather interesting insights into future-oriented policies that leverage stakeholder involvement, AI integration, and foresight techniques to address post-COVID rural challenges innovations and building resilient rural-urban communities.
Johanna Trager and Karin Haslböck from DIT presented the pilots at the entrepreneur fair.
