In July, Avoin Ry will organize an idea contest as a part of Takinkääntöviikko, a music festival organised by Mallusjoki Youth Association in Mallusjoki. Finland. Go Mallusjoki! Ideathon will be an opportunity to gather ideas that support the local event industry ecosystem and is open to all festival participants.

The ideathon will focus on the development of the online infrastructure in the Mallusjoki region. The goal is to collectively create new ways to market local events and support communal development. The ideathon will also provide participants with the chance to learn about PoliRuralPlus tools. After the ideathon, Avoin Ry will develop the most viable ideas further in collaboration with local organizations, making sure the ideathon will have a lasting impact in the region.
